New York Licensed Senior Trial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Trial Counsel Insurance Defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal issues and develop defense strategies independently
• Prepare pleadings, written discovery, and motions without supervision
• Mentor and coach staff while maintaining professional relationships with clients and the court

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in New York State
• Minimum 15+ years of significant trial experience in Insurance Defense
• Member in good standing of New York State Bar
• Knowledge of New York Supreme Courts
• Ability to travel to handle cases in Westchester and Rockland Counties is a plus
