New York Licensed SIU Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team focused on special investigation unit (SIU) activities, the full-time remote New York Licensed SIU Manager will oversee investigations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and protect the business from fraudulent practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and guidance on the SIU referral intake and investigation process
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain and revise fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) plans and policies
• Track and report on overpayments and recoveries, ensuring timely notifications to regulatory agencies

Required qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in special investigations, law enforcement, or a regulatory environment
• Minimum of 1 year of management or leadership experience
• Experience with investigative case management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
