New York Licensed Staff Attorney

Job Summary

Supporting the workflows of a corporate private funds practice group, the contract New York Licensed Staff Attorney will assist with drafting and negotiating fund-related documents while working remotely on a long-term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate fund side letter agreements and other related documents
• Review and analyze compliance documents from previous funds throughout their lifecycle
• Maintain heavy client contact and understand clients' complex network of entities

Required qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York
• Experience in private funds or corporate law
• Strong drafting skills with a focus on fund formation documents
• Ability to manage processes and demonstrate attention to detail
• Prior experience with client interactions in a legal setting
