New York Licensed Staff Attorney

Job Summary

Supporting the workflows of a corporate private funds practice group, the long-term temporary Contract Staff Attorney will assist with drafting and negotiating various legal documents while working remotely and is required to be admitted to the New York Bar.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with drafting and negotiating fund side letter agreements and other related documents
• Support ongoing fund operations by drafting feeder fund formation documents and reviewing compliance-related sub documents
• Maintain heavy client contact and understand clients' complex networks of entities

Required qualifications

• Must be admitted to the New York Bar
• Experience with private funds and related legal documentation
• Ability to draft and analyze complex legal agreements
• Strong attention to detail and process management skills
• Experience in client-facing roles within a legal context
