New York Licensed Staff Therapist
Job Summary
To support a growing private practice, the New York Licensed Staff Therapist will provide individual, relationship, and group psychotherapy to clients, working part-time or full-time in a remote setting while focusing on promoting optimum mental health and addressing clients' emotional and social needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload of 15-30 sessions weekly, including evenings and weekends
- Maintains accurate case notes and documentation within 24 hours of sessions held
- Participates in weekly clinical supervision and collaborates with referral sources for care coordination
Required qualifications
- Provisionally licensed with an LMSW in New York
- At least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy
- Experience in providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy
- Availability to see clients on at least one weekend day, early mornings, and evenings
- Education and training relevant to providing therapy in a specific niche
