New York Licensed Staff Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time and full-time New York Licensed Staff Therapist will provide individual, relationship, and group psychotherapy to clients, focusing on their emotional and social needs in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy services to a caseload of 15-30 sessions weekly, including individuals and couples, with evening and weekend availability required
• Maintain case notes and documentation within 24 hours of sessions held, ensuring compliance with practice policies
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision and engage in marketing efforts to co-create a caseload that aligns with professional goals

Required qualifications

• Provisionally licensed with an LMSW in New York
• At least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy
• Experience in providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy
• Availability to see clients on at least one weekend day, early mornings, and evenings
• Education and training demonstrating success in therapy within a specific niche
