New York Licensed Therapist

Job Summary

Providing evidence-based therapy for eating disorders in a remote setting, the full-time New York Licensed Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and maintain a caseload while ensuring quality documentation and ongoing patient assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities such as FBT and CBT-E
• Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients and engage in administrative tasks related to patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in mandatory meetings and ongoing training

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in New York
• Ability to provide care for a diverse patient population with varying degrees of acuity
• Commitment to working two evenings per week until 8pm in the patient care time zone
• Passion for evidence-based care and mental health treatment
• Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment is preferred
