Job Summary
To support families in crisis, the part-time New York Licensed Therapist will provide individual, group, and family treatment in the Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Program, conducting assessments and case management while working in a hybrid schedule with remote work days available.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct office, home, and field visits to assess clients and establish treatment goals
- Perform clinical assessments and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and represent Preventive Services at community functions
Required qualifications:
- Master's in Social Work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from an accredited school
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and the needs of abused and neglected children
- Demonstrated ability to work with resistant individuals and families
- Excellent writing skills for documentation compliance
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Creole French is an asset
