Job Summary

A company is looking for a Title Examiner.

Key Responsibilities

• Review all components of New York commercial title searches and produce accurate title commitments
• Identify and resolve title defects, including gaps, liens, and survey problems
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the examination team and coordinate with underwriting counsel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial title experience, particularly with New York files
• Deep knowledge of NY title insurance standards, NYTIS policies, and ALTA policies
• Ability to read and interpret complex legal documents, surveys, maps, and plats
• Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of files
• Familiarity with SoftPro software preferred
