Job Summary

Providing underwriting support for residential New York properties and commercial transactions, the full-time New York Licensed Title Underwriter will assess title insurance commitments and policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization related to real estate title insurance commitments and policies
• Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines to underwrite the issuance of title insurance within delegated authority limits
• Guide company personnel in the performance of real estate settlement services

Required qualifications

• 3 years of title underwriting experience, preferably with residential New York properties and commercial transactions
• Familiarity with New York condominium transactions
• Strong understanding of real estate law and the title and settlement process
• High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
