New York Licensed Trial Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Early Career Trial Attorney (Remote - Bronx / Westchester area).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict
• Gather and organize documents, evidence, and conduct legal research for cases
• Prepare and draft legal documents, and attend court hearings and other legal proceedings

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
• 1 - 4 years of experience as a licensed Attorney
• Successful completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis
• Capable of organizing case files and managing legal documents
• Must be commutable distance to courthouses throughout the greater New York area
