Job Summary

A company is looking for a New York Trust & Estate Paralegal (Part-Time, Remote and Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide substantive support in trust, will, and estate matters, including drafting and preparing related documents
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, fiduciaries, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision
• Conduct legal research related to trust and estate matters to support attorney strategy

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in New York trusts and estates
• Skilled in drafting and organizing estate documents
• Paralegal certificate preferred or equivalent practical litigation experience
• Tech-savvy with experience using cloud-based case management and document management systems
• Able to work independently while remaining responsive and collaborative with attorneys and staff
