Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Medical Biller will verify insurance benefits, utilize payor portals to establish patient benefits, and communicate findings to clinic staff while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review insurance benefits for accuracy and test the accuracy of patient benefit information
• Utilize payor portals to establish patients' benefits and complete daily action item requirements
• Communicate benefits to co-workers at the clinics and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies

Required qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and knowledge of insurance verification processes
• Ability to navigate EMR systems and analyze data for statistics
