New York or Pennsylvania Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing compassionate telephonic care, the part-time PRN New York or Pennsylvania Licensed Nurse Practitioner will deliver after-hours support to aging residents across multiple states, managing high call volumes and performing telehealth visits for acute changes and controlled substance needs.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of support for residents and facility staff after-hours, providing medical care and direction over the phone
• Utilize Curana's telephonic platform to coordinate care between facilities, hospitals, and clinics
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document encounters in the EMR, ensuring compliance with CMS requirements

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current unrestricted NP license in Pennsylvania or New York
• Nurse Practitioner national certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP
• 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Ability to obtain DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority
