Job Summary
Supporting the summer camp permitting process, the part-time remote New York Permits Coordinator will manage permit applications, submissions, and compliance documentation for multiple camp locations while ensuring all NYC Department of Health requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full permit application cycle for approximately 8 individual summer camp locations
- Prepare and submit required NYC DOH forms and documentation
- Track submission statuses, inspection schedules, and communication with DOH representatives
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail
- Experience managing deadlines and document-heavy processes
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and communication tools like Slack or Monday.com
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Interest in education, operations, or summer camp management a plus
