New York PIP Claims Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PIP/MedPay Claims Associate responsible for managing and negotiating claims related to automobile accidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and confirms facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents, determining coverage, liability, and damages
• Handles all aspects of advanced auto claims with discretion and independence
• Reviews, evaluates, and negotiates basic to moderate injury claims as needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience managing frontline PIP Med/Pay claims in New York
• Strong understanding of New York PIP regulations
• Experience in applying insurance policies and organizational relationships
• Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate service
• Experience in adjusting claims or rotation into specialty positions is preferred
