New York PIP Claims Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PIP/MedPay Claims Associate responsible for managing PIP and MedPay claims in New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and confirms facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents, determining coverage, liability, and damages
• Handles all aspects of advanced auto claims with discretion and independence, including evaluating and negotiating injury claims
• Identifies customer needs and determines potential subrogation or fraud issues

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience managing frontline PIP Med/Pay claims in New York
• Strong understanding of New York PIP regulations
• Experience with insurance policies and organizational relationships within the industry
• Ability to recognize vehicle body parts and potential property damage
• Experience in an Adjuster II level or specialty position is preferred
