New York Pre-Licensed Child Therapist

Job Summary

To deliver family-centric and evidence-based care, the remote New York Pre-Licensed Child Therapist will provide individual and group clinical care to children, adolescents, and young adults while collaborating with care team members and utilizing measurement-based care for treatment planning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based individual and group clinical care to patients and families
• Collaborate with care team members and facilitate skills practice groups focused on skills development
• Complete documentation and participate in ongoing training on evidence-based and tech-enhanced care delivery

Required qualifications

• Provisional/Associate licensure in Social Work or Counseling, or Pre-Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. or PsyD
• Graduate-level clinical internship with therapy training required
• Background working with children and adolescents, particularly with anxiety and related disorders
• Experience in delivering evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT) preferred
• Basic computer skills and openness to new technologies
