New York Project Manager

Job Summary

Managing multiple Thermal Energy Networks (TENs) projects, the remote Project Manager will ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes while collaborating with diverse stakeholders across New York State in a 3-year contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of TENs projects, coordinating schedules, milestones, and risk management activities
• Facilitate collaboration among government, utilities, industry partners, and communities to support strategic planning and business case development
• Conduct research and analysis on energy programs and prepare technical reports and stakeholder presentations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Energy, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field
• 3-6 years of project management experience, preferably with multi-stakeholder projects
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Asana
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
