Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Review assessments completed by field assessors for accuracy and compliance
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff, including facilitating monthly in-person training sessions
  • Develop and maintain reports based on audit findings and implement corrective action plans
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of professional experience, or equivalent education and experience
  • 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
  • 1 year of experience in a compliance or quality assurance role within health or human services
  • Familiarity with QMS processes and ISO 9001 standards
  • Experience in developing work instructions and training staff
