New York RN Clinical Reviewer

Job Summary

Reviewing clinical documentation completed by field nurses, the part-time New York RN Clinical Reviewer will ensure compliance with agency policies and New York State Department of Health requirements while tracking documentation status and collaborating with clinical staff in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations and quality standards
• Track and manage outstanding documentation, coordinating workflow to ensure timely processing and submission
• Provide feedback and education to field nurses on documentation standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum one (1) year of home care experience
• Knowledge of New York State Department of Health requirements and regulations
• Experience reviewing nursing documentation for quality and compliance
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation review skills
