New York Seasonal Admissions Reader

Job Summary

Seeking detail-oriented individuals, the part-time Temporary New York Seasonal Admissions Readers will evaluate first-year undergraduate applications remotely, reviewing transcripts, essays, and recommendation letters while maintaining communication with admissions staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial reader of application files for prospective first-year students
• Independently review high school transcripts, essays, and other application materials
• Provide organized and thorough notations based on training and manage personal reading schedule

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• New York State resident, with all work conducted in New York State
• Well-developed computer skills and ability to adapt to new technology
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
