New York Security Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Architect to support enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise security architecture across multiple platforms
• Translate business and regulatory security requirements into technical controls and architecture standards
• Conduct security architecture reviews and design mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities and risks

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 7+ years of dedicated cybersecurity experience, including security architecture and solution design
• Strong experience designing enterprise security architectures in complex environments
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
• Deep understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA/HITECH, NIST, and ISO 27001/27002
