New York Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned New York Senior Counsel, this hybrid full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and developing compelling case themes in the insurance defense sector.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in the State of New York
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
• Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
