New York Senior Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the hybrid New York Senior Counsel will independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff arguments
- Manage all facets of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
- Maintain routine communications and cultivate relationships with clients
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved school
- Active bar license in the State of New York
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience managing full case handling responsibilities
