Job Summary
Seeking a New York Senior Counsel, this hybrid full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while developing compelling case themes and providing leadership to junior attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Active bar license in the State of New York
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience managing full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
