New York State Certified Bilingual Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Bilingual High School Educator (New York State Certified).

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the curriculum on the district virtual platform and attend district PD and faculty meetings
• Record student progress and partner with an in-class facilitator
• Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum and engage students in the virtual learning environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid NYS teacher certification in Middle School or High School Math, Science, or Social Studies
• Must have or be open to obtaining the Bilingual Education Extension Certification (English/Spanish)
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus
