To enhance training on energy codes, the part-time Energy Code Specialist will develop course materials, deliver training sessions, and provide technical assistance to clients, working remotely from New York State.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of training topics and materials aligned with evolving energy codes
- Deliver live webinar and in-person training sessions to various stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance and guidance on energy codes and policies to clients
Required qualifications
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial energy codes and compliance practices
- Experience in developing technical resources for energy code compliance
- Familiarity with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and New York State energy codes
- Experience delivering training and providing technical guidance to diverse audiences
- Ability to obtain Residential and Commercial IECC certifications
