New York State Licensed Dietitian

Job Summary

Providing nutritional care for patients, the per diem remote New York State Licensed Dietitian will plan, assess, implement, and evaluate patient nutritional care plans while assisting in menu modifications and related functions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop patient-specific care plans, recommending diet modifications to medical staff
• Provide nutritional guidance and education to patients and families, ensuring adherence to prescribed diets
• Participate in quality assurance tasks and support clinical operations within the team and department

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Current Registered Dietitian Certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Certified Dietitian Nutritionist in New York State (CDN), as needed
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Advanced/specialized certifications, as needed
