New York State Licensed MEP Reviewer

Job Summary

To support construction projects, the full-time New York State Licensed MEP Reviewer will perform technical reviews of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy code compliance for commercial and institutional buildings in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive MEP plan reviews and prepare follow-up comments for revisions and resubmissions
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews with structural, architectural, fire protection, and accessibility teams
• Stay updated on code changes and assist with technical research and special code consulting assignments

Required qualifications

• Current New York State Code Enforcement Official (CEO) certification
• Extensive experience in reviewing or designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial buildings
• Strong working knowledge of the Energy Conservation Construction Code of New York State
• Thorough understanding of the New York State Uniform Code and referenced standards
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office
