Job Summary
To provide comprehensive medical and addiction treatment, the full-time New York State Licensed Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in Addiction Recovery Services, working both onsite in Clifton Springs and remotely, while managing patient care, prescribing medications, and ensuring thorough documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain and integrate detailed patient histories and physical data to determine necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Support patients throughout their recovery journey by fostering a compassionate and trauma-informed environment
- Prescribe medications and write orders to stabilize patients during intake while maintaining accurate documentation of patient records
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (required)
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- Registered Nurse certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- Minimum of one year of experience in chemical dependency, primary care, or hospital medicine preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
