New York State Licensed Physics Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Upper School Science Teacher with an emphasis on Physics.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a community where students are encouraged to learn and think as scientists
• Design, develop, and deliver engaging, hands-on, inquiry-based lessons
• Establish classroom rules and create an inclusive environment for student questions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Science Education, or a science-related area required
• Master's Degree in Science, Science Education, or a science-related area recommended
• At least three years of prior teaching experience in a High School setting
• Experience with inquiry-based learning in a Science class
• Eagerness to contribute positively to the community and engage with diverse backgrounds
