Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, a New York State Licensed RN will facilitate clinical documentation improvement through collaboration with healthcare teams, ensuring accurate medical records and compliance with documentation standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitates modifications in clinical documentation to support accurate inpatient medical conditions and maximize revenue
- Oversees EPARC and communicates with physicians to ensure complete and accurate documentation in medical records
- Presents findings to stakeholders and provides education on documentation improvement and reimbursement opportunities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or a relevant clinical discipline with 5 years of inpatient clinical experience
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License or equivalent licensure (NP, PA, MD, DO)
- Knowledge of complex disease processes required
- Prior experience with EPARC, eRecord, HDM, and SharePoint preferred
- Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) or Clinical Documentation Improvement Professional (CDIP) certification preferred
