New York State Licensed RN Triage

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the part-time Registered Nurse (RN) Triage will utilize the nursing process to diagnose and treat patient concerns through remote triage, managing calls and medication requests during varied weekday and weekend hours.

Key responsibilities

• Triages patient calls, submits medication prior authorization requests, and schedules appointments
• Reviews and updates medication lists in the electronic medical record (EMR) for provider review
• Educates patients on medications, testing procedures, and home care techniques while ensuring compliance with referrals

Required qualifications

• Current unencumbered New York State RN license
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; HS Diploma/equivalent required
• Basic Life Support certification
• At least 6 months of previous RN experience
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
