Job Summary

To support tax compliance and advisory functions, the full-time remote New York State Licensed Tax Manager will oversee tax reporting, manage compliance strategies, and provide guidance on federal, state, and international tax matters within a complex organization.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage tax reporting compliance and strategy, including research on legislative tax developments
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the tax team and payroll staff on tax-related matters
  • Act as the primary contact for tax audits and inquiries, ensuring timely responses and compliance
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant tax compliance experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance laws and principles
  • Foundational understanding of international income or VAT/GST tax concepts
  • Proficiency in advanced spreadsheet and database software
