New York Supervising Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth team, the full-time 1099 New York Supervising Psychiatrist will provide clinical guidance and supervision to Nurse Practitioners, focusing on case consultation and internal practice standards, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to provide clinical guidance and case consultation
• Conduct chart reviews and audits to ensure high-quality care across virtual behavioral health programs
• Work closely with Clinical Supervisors to maintain consistent practice standards

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with willingness to obtain additional state licenses, preferably in Florida, Illinois, or New York
• Board certified in Psychiatry; child/adolescent psychiatry board certification is a plus
• Prior experience in a supervisory or collaborative role with Nurse Practitioners
• Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Treatment and telehealth
• Active DEA and compliance awareness with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
