Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time salaried New York Workers Compensation Adjuster will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients, with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid schedule if within commutable distance to Syracuse, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions by investigating and gathering relevant information
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred
• Knowledge of New York jurisdiction is essential
• Licensing in New York is preferred but not required
