New York Workers Compensation Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing Workers Compensation claims on a part-time temporary basis, the New York Workers Compensation Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate claim activity while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to ensure timely resolution through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Knowledge of New York jurisdiction regulations
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
