Newfoundland and Labrador Licensed Registered Nurse

Job Summary

Providing virtual nursing care and mental health support, the full-time Newfoundland and Labrador Licensed Registered Nurse will triage patients via telephone, utilizing established protocols to assist callers with medical decisions and crisis interventions while working remotely in a shift-based schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and advice to assist callers in making timely medical decisions
• Deliver mental health support, including crisis intervention for issues such as suicide and addictions
• Exercise clinical judgment and document medical records according to company standards

Required qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent triage and/or clinical experience in areas such as ER, mental health, or acute care
• Experience in mental health, addictions, and crisis intervention care is a strong asset
• Active licensure with the CRNNL or willingness to obtain it
• Familiarity with windows-based computer systems and comfortable using technology
