Job Summary

Providing virtual nursing care and mental health support, the full-time Newfoundland and Labrador Licensed Registered Nurse will triage patients via telephone, utilizing established protocols to deliver timely medical advice and crisis intervention from a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and medical advice to assist callers in making timely healthcare decisions
• Deliver mental health support, including crisis intervention for issues such as suicide and addictions
• Complete confidential medical records accurately and promptly according to company standards

Required qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent triage and/or clinical experience in relevant areas such as ER, mental health, or acute care
• Active licensure with the CRNNL or willingness to obtain it
• Experience in providing mental health and crisis intervention care is a strong asset
• Familiarity with windows-based computer systems and technology
