Job Summary
Providing remote nursing care and mental health support, the full-time Newfoundland and Labrador Licensed RN will triage patients via telephone using established protocols, assisting with medical decisions and crisis interventions while working within a shift schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Provide telephone triage and nursing advice to assist callers in making timely medical decisions
- Deliver mental health support, including crisis intervention for issues such as suicide and addictions
- Document clinical data accurately and complete medical records in accordance with company standards
Required qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent triage and/or clinical experience in relevant fields such as ER or mental health
- Active licensure with the CRNNL or willingness to obtain it
- Experience in providing mental health, addictions, and crisis intervention care is a strong asset
- Familiarity with windows-based computer systems and technology
