Job Summary
To support the delivery of virtual nursing care, the full-time Newfoundland and Labrador Licensed RN will provide telephone triage and mental health support to patients, utilizing established protocols while working remotely in a shift-based schedule that includes days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Provide telephone triage and advice to assist callers in making timely medical decisions
- Deliver mental health support, including crisis intervention for patients experiencing addictions or suicidal thoughts
- Document clinical data accurately and promptly as per company standards
Required qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent triage and/or clinical experience in relevant fields such as ER, mental health, or acute care
- Active licensure with the CRNNL or willingness to obtain it
- Experience in providing mental health and crisis intervention care is a strong asset
- Familiarity with windows-based computer systems and comfort using technology for remote work
