Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time to full-time Newfoundland and Labrador Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive virtual care, including patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans while working remotely with flexible scheduling options.
Key responsibilities:
- Assessing client presentations and determining appropriate levels of care, including facilitating referrals as needed
- Independently diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Communicating findings and treatment options to clients and documenting within their permanent health records
Required qualifications:
- Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program and an approved School of Nursing
- Current or willingness to obtain licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Preferred 1 year of recent experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, with emergency or urgent care experience considered an asset
- Family All Ages (FAA) certification is required
- Strong computer and technology skills for delivering virtual care, including a personal computer system with necessary equipment
