Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract News & Deals Editor/Writer.

Key Responsibilities:

Write 1-2 stories daily to meet velocity goals
Assist senior editors with editing workload as needed
Update InStyle stories for accuracy and freshness

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in writing and editing digital content at a major lifestyle publication
Experience in pitching, writing, and editing beauty, style, and celebrity content
Ability to write and edit on tight deadlines based on the news and sales cycle
Flexible with daily assignments and able to pivot tasks while upholding brand style/voice
Experienced freelancer interested in guaranteed weekly hours/pay
