Job Summary
Seeking an experienced News Editor, the full-time remote position will edit news stories and analysis, collaborate on story conceptualization, and manage the workflow of the news desk team focused on Jewish left reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Edit news stories and analysis for the website and newsletters
- Collaborate with the news desk team to shape news coverage and strategy
- Manage the workflow of the news desk and publish stories online
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a news editing role
- Experience writing and editing newsletters is a plus
- Experience in a newsroom environment is a significant plus
- Familiarity with topics such as left politics, Jewish communal politics, and Israel/Palestine is a significant plus
