Newsletter Expansion Editor

Job Summary

Leading the development and optimization of a growing portfolio of newsletters, the remote Newsletter Expansion Editor will manage strategy, collaborate with newsroom teams, and drive subscriber engagement while contributing directly to newsletter production and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for launching and scaling newsletters across various topics and formats
• Design, launch, and iterate on new newsletters using a test-and-learn approach to enhance performance
• Analyze performance metrics to inform decisions and optimize the full lifecycle of newsletters from acquisition to monetization

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in newsletters, audience development, product, or growth roles, preferably in media
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven success in launching and scaling newsletter products or similar channels
• Strong product mindset with experience in experimentation and data-informed decision-making
• Familiarity with email platforms and analytics tools such as Sailthru, Mailchimp, or GA4
