Newsletter Monetization Manager

Job Summary

Driving the monetization strategy for a diverse portfolio, the full-time remote Newsletter Monetization Manager will oversee subscriber growth and email strategy for ZDNET and Mashable newsletters, while managing sales coordination and leveraging data analytics to maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead liaison for sales departments, managing internal and external newsletter placements and assessing effectiveness
• Oversee new subscriber acquisition and implement engagement strategies through A/B testing and automated email journeys
• Utilize expertise in newsletter advertising models to analyze performance and inform retention strategies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in email newsletter marketing operations and CRM strategy
• Working knowledge of performance-based advertising platforms such as Linkby, Paved, and LiveIntent
• Expert-level proficiency in CRM platforms, particularly Iterable, along with experience in data extraction and analytics tools
• Exceptional project management skills with experience in managing complex sales integrations
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations, including CAN-SPAM, and experience managing advertising content
