Next-Gen SIEM Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Next-Gen SIEM Associate Consultant will serve as a technical advisor for strategic customers, focusing on the planning, deployment, and optimization of their Next-Gen SIEM environments to ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with customer security teams and leadership
• Guide customers through Next-Gen SIEM deployment, configuration, and integration
• Optimize data ingestion strategies and implement custom detection rules and dashboards tailored to customer needs

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in security operations, SIEM administration, or security engineering
• Familiarity with at least one major SIEM platform (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or similar)
• Understanding of query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL, or similar)
• Experience with detection engineering and correlation rule development
• Knowledge of common log sources and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
