Job Summary
Providing administrative support within the Health Information Technology Team, the full-time salaried NextGen Administrator will lead the setup and maintenance of the NextGen EHR system, offer user training, and ensure system performance and compliance, with the flexibility to work fully remote or in a hybrid model.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the setup, configuration, and deployment of the NextGen EHR system in alignment with organizational needs and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support and training to end-users for effective utilization of the NextGen system
- Collaborate with teams to customize and optimize the NextGen system, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with other healthcare systems
Required qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Relevant certifications such as NextGen Certified Professional (NCP) or Certified EHR Professional (CEHRT) are a plus
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a NextGen Administrator or in a similar EHR administration role within a healthcare environment
- In-depth knowledge of NextGen EHR system functionalities and configurations
- Familiarity with healthcare IT standards, regulations, and security best practices, including HIPAA
