NextGen Certified Medical Biller

Job Summary

To support community health organizations, the remote NextGen Certified Medical Biller will manage payment posting, reconcile deposits, and process medical billing workflows while working Monday through Friday in a standard schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform payment posting for multiple FQHC and CHC organizations
• Reconcile deposits, remittances, and electronic payment files accurately and promptly
• Research payer requirements and assist with AR follow-up and billing inquiries

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of medical billing experience
• 2+ years of NextGen experience
• Experience using clearinghouses and healthcare portals
• Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding
• Must be NextGen Certified (NCP) or able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
